Lack of health care in Thailand

Thailand is always a destination for medical tourism, actively seeks to promote the Thai health care right. However, the average Thai is no indirect benefit from medical tourism, as there are some gaps in health facilities and hospitals to provide medical care to the local population.

Efforts are underway to improve health care in Thailand, however, still has much to do before we see concrete results.

L 'first shortcoming in the health sector in Thailand is that there is a health care system. The majority of doctors in Thailand are usually specialists. Thus, it is usually hard to find good family doctor for minor ailments. If a person of common cold and cough, a visit to the General Hospital suffering, means by a doctor specializing in medicine and the doctor can not be managed in a position to be tested a bit 'Suffering.

However, critics ask separately. They say they have the most private and university hospitals, doctors and the family must do is ask.

The other problem is that doctors in hospitals in Thailand are not the most full-time. Most physicians and surgeons end up in different hospitals in Bangkok. Other than that, these doctors have their own private clinics. Thus, his post-operative care is a nightmare when communicating medicalwith the nursing staff of a mobile phone. Another misconception that can have a Thai patient is that he does not see your doctor as often as he would during his stay in the hospital like that. And if so, is at odd hours after the doctor finished his clinics in various other places.
